Goa is not the place where you holiday once and forget about. After the first trip, Goa becomes a yearning, and after the second it becomes a compulsion! This Portuguese Arcadia on Indian Terrain has so many appealing worlds that even the most experienced travelers can’t create the finest of their Goan holiday.

Goa and its Beaches are synonymous. While the Beaches in North Goa are real crowd pullers, the Beaches in South Goa are less navigated. We propose the Arossim Beach and the Utorda Beach near the town of Majorda for the best South Goa Beach Award. In the North, there are Baga, Calangute, and Anjuna. Water sports and other Adventure sports on these Beaches include jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving, and declining from a banana boat. To add up your Beach knowledge, book a room in one of the finest hotels in North Goa.

The next thing in agenda must be, to pay a visit to Panjim, where history comes lively. It is in Old Goa, once the State Capital for more than three centuries. Panjim is also known as the Rome of East. The array of churches, convents, museums, art galleries, government buildings , bakeries and bungalows together make it difficult to advice what can be by- passed in South Goa. Yet, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se de Santa Catarina are the frequently sojourned ones. To add on, Old Goa is presently, UNESCO’S World Heritage Site.

The wildlife in Goa is also something to talk about. The wildlife in Goa is more interesting and appealing than its nightlife. The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park have panthers, sloth bear, mouse deer and even barking deer. Then there are 200 varieties of birds including the Indian great black woodpecker, Malabar pied hornbill, fairy bluebird, emerald dove and kingfisher, to name a few. This passive sanctuary in the foothills of Western Ghats can be visited from 8.30 A.M to 5.30 P.M. every day.

Goa treats shoppers in a pleasant way. The Ingo market in Goa is a must go. Not so long ago, a German named Ingo arranged this new market on a leased property. Lovingly known as Ingo’s Saturday Night Bazaar, this market in Arpora is on for about six months of winter and offers a collection of junk jewellery, imported T- Shirts, bohemian commodities, dishes from all over the world. The non-shoppers do not have to be disappointed there is Daniel Bar for them which have a DJ playing music for the market.

Not to forget the Goan and Portuguese food which is must try. Mum’s Kitchen and Martin’s Corner are the two famous joints serving good food.

Truly, Goa is a must go! For all.
